MCDP(Multi-purpose Community Development Project) is an indigenous, non-political, non-profit making NGO, established in June 1998 by volunteer Ethiopian professionals.

Geographical areas of MCDP
The main office of the organization is located in Addis Ababa closer to the popular commercial center "MERKATO" and Regional Bus terminal and south of Pastor Institute. We operate in Addis Ababa and Southern People, Nations and Nationalilities Regional state.

1. Kebele 14/21 in Addis ketema subcity in Addis Ababa
• MCDP is currently operating in one of the slum areas of Addis Ababa ; Addis Ketema sub city Kebele14/21 in an estimated population of more than 20,000.
2. Kirkos and Nifas Silk Sub cities in Addis Ababa
• The project targets 12 Iddirs, their members and population of the two Kebeles in Kirkos and Nifas Silk Lafto sub cities.
3. Chencha wereda in GamoGofa in Southern Regional State.
